Angela Belty
Angela Belty is a litigation associate at Omega Law Group. She has over a decade of litigation experience dedicated exclusively to plaintiff’s personal injury and wrongful death matters. Angela is deeply committed to achieving justice for those who have been injured due to the negligence of another. In her practice, she has focused on understanding and getting to know each client to truly understand each client’s loss and gather the framework to tell their stories. This dedication has led Angela to successfully obtain six and seven figure settlements and verdicts for her clients. As a result of her success, Angela has been named a Super Lawyers Rising Star from 2019-2023, an honor reserved for only 2.5% of attorneys in Southern California. Angela is an active member of the State Bar of California and is licensed to practice law before all California State Courts and the United States District Court for the Central District of California. Angela is also an active member of the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles and the Mexican American Bar Association.
Angela was the first in her family to attend college. She received her Bachelors of Arts in Political Science, with Provost Honors, from the University of California, San Diego. Thereafter she obtained her Juris Doctorate from Loyola Law School Los Angeles. While in law school, Angela studied abroad at the University for Peace in Costa Rica. She was also selected to participate in the William C. Hobbs Trial Advocacy program and worked as a Certified Law Clerk for the Los Angeles District Attorney’s office. Additionally, Angela was chosen to participate in the American Bar Association Judicial Internship Opportunity Program where she served as an extern for the Honorable Fred J. Fujioka for the Juvenile Dependency Division of the Los Angeles Superior Court.
Outside of the courtroom, Angela enjoys volunteering with the Los Angeles Trial Lawyers’ Charities, traveling, and spending time with her dog, Lucy.
