Join Lauren Wood on a small group trip to some of her favorite international destinations. Lauren is the host of the Women in Trial Travel Summit, trial lawyer with L Wood Law Corp and travel blogger behind Travel is the Cure.

Lauren believes travel is one of the most enriching experiences a person can have, offering opportunities to explore new cultures, gain fresh perspectives, and step outside of daily routines. It broadens the mind, fostering a deeper understanding of the world and its diverse people. Whether it’s immersing oneself in local traditions, tasting new cuisines, or witnessing breathtaking landscapes, travel cultivates personal growth and a greater appreciation for the world. It also allows for self-discovery, pushing individuals out of their comfort zones and encouraging resilience, adaptability, and confidence.

Lauren believes that for women, traveling in all-female groups provides unique advantages, fostering camaraderie, empowerment, and safety. It creates a supportive environment where women can share experiences, build meaningful friendships, and inspire one another to embrace adventure. These groups often provide a sense of security, especially in destinations where solo female travel might be more challenging. Additionally, all-female travel experiences can be empowering, encouraging participants to step into leadership roles, try new activities without hesitation, and navigate unfamiliar environments with confidence. Whether it’s a wellness retreat, a cultural expedition, or an outdoor adventure, traveling with like-minded women fosters connection, empowerment, and unforgettable memories.
Lauren's passion is traveling the world, and these small group trips combine her experience in the legal field with that never-ending itch to see the world. These group trips are specially curated so that women lawyers can gain MCLE credits* while experiencing a beautiful new destination and getting to know other like-minded women in the legal field.
However, there is no requirement that you are a licensed attorney to attend. All are welcome.
