The 4th Annual Women in Trial Travel Summit® (WITTS) will be held at the beautiful Conrad resort in Punta Mita, Mexico. WITTS is hosted by Lauren Wood, principal trial attorney with L Wood Law Corp and the owner of Travel is the Cure, a travel blog and company that hosts group trips and MCLE events. This attorney conference mixes legal education with exciting travel destinations. WITTS is an event where attendees bond with like-minded women, experience the culture in a new locale, network with vendors and other trial lawyers, and enjoy some much needed fun in the sun, away from the office. There will be MCLE* classes in the mornings, with hosted networking events in the afternoons and evenings.
The first, second and third WITTS events were also held in April at the Conrad in Punta de Mita. There were four to five hosted events, including a welcome cocktail reception, lunch with keynote speaker, poolside cocktail hour with live mariachi music, dinner with a live Cuban band and beachside farewell brunch and champagne toast.

Travel is the Cure, LLC is a CLE Provider with the California State Bar (Provider Number 19559) and may issue credits to live attendees for the above programs. Sara Williams is an esteemed attorney with Alexander Shunnarah Trial Attorneys in Alabama. Sara has litigated a variety of cases across the State of Alabama, including premises liability, motor vehicle negligence, wrongful death and trucking cases. Sara began her legal career as a civil defense attorney and has worked for some of the preeminent litigation firms of the State. She is now excited to have the opportunity to utilize her litigation skills to help those who have been injured and their families. Sara is an adjunct professor of Trial Advocacy at Cumberland School of Law and also serves as a coach for Cumberland School of Law’s nationally ranked mock trial teams. Sara was our 2023 keynote speaker and her keynote was such a hit that we've asked her back for 2025!

The next Women in Trial Travel Summit® (WITTS) will be held at The Conrad in beautiful Punta de Mita, Mexico from Wednesday, April 2nd through Saturday, April 5, 2025.

Ticket includes full access to the MCLE meetings, daily continental breakfast and all hosted events (Wednesday Welcome Cocktail Reception, Thursday Poolside Cocktail Hour, Friday Lunch and Saturday Dinner).
